  Great value for money,pay dearer for items like bread and rolls but that's convenience for you staff friendly and efficient at tills.

  Undeniably Warracknabeal's best supermarket and probably the region's unless you want to go to the big boys in Horsham. Even then, I would personally prefer to get most things at Fishers IGA because it is like Mama bear - the perfect size. Not too big and not too small, so it takes the exhaustion out of shopping. Besides, you simply won't find better, more friendly and helpful staff anywhere - period. Prices? They compare very favourably to Coles & Safeway, which is surprising considering they are hardly in proximity to them for most things such as off the shelf items, however where they don't is green groceries which tend to be very expensive in my experience. Don't ever think of buying an avocado there - unless your life depends on it! Ouch! But you can't get a perfect score for everything. It is the overall impression that counts. It's a great, community minded supermarket, which also discounts on Thursdays for seniors card holders (note to Richies - should be pensioners as senior card holders can be wealthy and are NOT means tested whereas pensioners ARE means tested and live below the poverty line, but good points for trying.) If you are anywhere near Warracknabeal and you don't shop at Richies IGA, you are making a mistake. Give them a try and you might enjoy the experience as much as I do.
